North Norfolk is best in spring, or autumn, when the region is warm but not overrun with tourists. In these shoulder seasons, locals and a handful of holidaymakers are able to enjoy the region’s flint-built villages, undulating countryside, atmospheric salt flats and vast beaches, without having to jostle for space with the masses.
